MS Publisher (98?) used to generate a gif of each page of the document,
then displayed the gifs in a large column.

ob-debian: my security camera is working nicely - a PII 266 with a USB
webcam attached.  Here's a sample pic.

The machine takes a snap every 2 - 2.5 seconds and saves it to disk. 
I've been using gtksee to browse them if theres a problem - but its not
that easy.  Any other recommendations?
