I lurrrve Linux .... the configurability is marvelous. I come from having used Win most of my life as that is what was required for work. Started watching Linux carefully about a year ago as a possible platform for businesses to use, not just as a server but as a client. Waited until two months ago to convert as felt it was ready for me to use for client sites.
I love it. So configurable. Have just written my own one line programe to play a sound when mail arrives. nothing special I know but to be able to place it in as central directory, change a line in one config file and have it usable by all users ...bliss. So easy, so nice, so stable and what is more it doesn't matter what email client I need to use, the same little proglet will work for all of them. Am slowly configuring the system to fit me, and work to my idiosynch, err, own style. Even if I up grade nothing changes ... double bliss. I love Linux. -- Shane
