I use the libre NVidia drivers at Uni on my Debian box, which is fine as I do not play games at Uni (honest!) so I do not miss the OpenGL support. At home I use the non-libre (but gratis) drivers from NVidia as the main task of my RH box is to run Neverwinter Nights (not-libre, non-gratis).
