Another recommendation (from someone who was a newbie with RedHat once) - if
your hard disc is large enough, RedHat gives you an option to install
"everything" which I found very helpful when learning. My progress was not
hindered by having to install anything.

From memory a full install used about 4.5->4.7GB of disk space.
