Many photographers do use digital cameras for purposes where they're suited (that's why I'd like one too). It's also clear that even cheap 35mm SLR leave consumer digital for dead (at this point). I never said otherwise. What was the answer to whether the files from cards of non-usb-storage cams can be read in card readers under Linux? (Assuming the card reader itself goes.)
