Yeah - I've found uuencode to work better
uuencode filename filename | mail -s "file attached" [EMAIL PROTECTED]
You have to give the filename twice to uuencode
And if anyone, like me, is wondering 'why by the gods of useability is the filename given twice' - the first is the infile, the second is the outfile.
And note, the infile may inclue a pathname. The outfile generally shouldn't. At least, that's what they say at
