I've been using a Puretek PT-3808 in half bridge mode for a very long
time with no problems, it's available from tastech.co.nz (should be less
than 100NZD).

PS The number of connection should be irrelevant in half bridge mode,
the modem will extract IP packets from ethernet frames and route them to
the WAN interface.
