Hello, I am relatively new to operating systems beside Windows so I don't really know what's out there.
I have a question about Compatibility between distros: If I install a distro that uses, for example, RPMs can I also use .tar.gz, .deb and other package formats if apps are not available in RPM format? What is the procedure in this case? Please go easy on me if I am way off with my jargon, I'm only 15 and this is my first post on the mailing list. - Kale Worsley
