Be sure to try munin ( http://munin.projects.linpro.no/ ) as well. Both
( and plenty of other ) projects are based on Tobi Oetiker's world
changing - for a sysadmin - rrdtool project, which grew from the
original MRTG.

That man deserves a ( Swiss ) knighthood!
