we were talking about the integrity on the COL 3.1.1. iso, not whether I used a window$ or linux to burn the image.
ISO is the data format. you can question the compilance of Nero Burning ROM to the linux cdr-record, but you shouldn't shift the focus from the ISO to the OS.
