I ran into a problem yesterday when attempting to export from xfig into any
graphics format (e.g. jpeg, gif, png) with a ghostscript error. I get the
same error attempting to convert postscript or eps exports from xfig to
images using the ImageMagik ``convert'' program so it appears to be
ghostscript related. The URL below is a screen capture of the error dialog
from xfig:

BTW: it seems strange to me that xfig isn't included in the SuSE 8.1
personal edition, only in Professional. I would figure (no pun intended)
that xfig would be part of the desktop distribution. I found this out when
I tried running xfig on a fresh install of the personal distribution to see
if perhaps I had buggered something on my development machine which is
running 8.1 Professional.
