Folks,
I think I have a demented install. I'm trying to mount a floppy drive and it keeps telling me "File type not supported by kernel". VFAT?!? I thought all modern kernels supported that. Is there a simple (for the simple-minded amongst us) way to get the kernel to support extra files systems? A module I can add or whatever?
msdos/windoze floppies are never vfat filesystems. they're fat or msdos filesystem.
