Anti-trust legislation never works, largely because monopolies are
impossible without government intervention.  There's an excellent article
on this by Alan Greenspan, Federal Reserve head, in Ayn Rand's book,
``Capitalisim, the Unknown Ideal'' (along with another article by him on
why a gold standard is necessary to prevent government abuse -- written
long before he became head of the Fed :-).
