It appears that MySQL and Samba client, and what looks like server, are on
the 2 Disk Download version of MD8.0 and I am not sure if the development
tools you are looking for are there or not but it looks like some are on the
disks.
I am not sure about the pluggins.
I only had difficulty loading SO5.2 on one machine. It loaded on two others
without any problems. I have not figured out what the problem is on this one
machine. It is a ASUS A7v with an AMD K7-900 T-Bird and a 3D Blaster Savage
4 AGP video card from Creative. It is the same machine that does not run the
DVD very well. I may try a different video card.
I would like to hear about Suse also.
