>From my time in HK, (and the Golden Arcade.....) I found it good value, but,
and a big but, the Arcade had no "official" software for sale. I do hope that
the very reasonable price of SuSE Linux- and most others- means that you got
a full proper copy.

I hope (further) that this means that even in the hothouse commercial markets
of HK it is not worth ripping off the distro because the margins are too low!

This in turn would mean that an argument I have voiced for years (that most
people most of the time will pay a reasonable price for what they buy, but
will support piracy when it means that they get what they want if (a) they
cannot afford the often silly prices, or (b) if they consider the prices
extortionate.)

To rip off SuSE's Personal or Professional offerings would involve more
effort and cost, I suspect, than buying in bulk and selling at the market
rate.

Can you confirm that you have a full SuSE version, and not an Arcade version?

Please reply to me personally if you prefer not to respond to the list. I
would just like to have my theory supported from the Arcade itself! Thanks.

Terence
