First, LPI does not run courses (I don't think). They establish a test and
certification standard which many folks who do run courses will base their
training upon.

Personally, I believe that courses that follow the LPI model are superior to
the SAIR GNU genre. Reason? Greater depth and it leads to a credible
industry-recognized cert. SAIR GNU is still seen as a lightweight.
