On top of which, SAIR is completely closed.  LPI is the opposite.  The
only thing closed in LPI is the question pool itself.  Perhaps a dozen
folks have seen a substantial number of the test questions (apart from
the test takers).

Right now, most of the development for the second level has been done --
LPI just needs folks to submit more questions so their question pool is
deep enough.  Anyone may submit any number of questions (with the
correct and several incorrect answers) for use in the test.  Once they
have enough items, some individuals will verify that the question is
correct, the answers (right and wrong) are appropriate, and grade the
question.

If it sounds like I've been involved, you're right.  I would urge anyone
on the list who has in-depth knowledge in any area to feel free to help
out.  You just can't have enough questions.
