Man. Things have turned out just fine.
To get respectable pdf output from those gnuplot files, all it takes is the following:
pchain files*ps | psnup -4 | ps2pdf FancyPDF.pdf
Now, even your windows bound colleagues can see your brilliance.
I guess the next question is, can some text documents be integrated with the
graphs? Hmmm....
