normally, most of the clients i used know the syntax:
username:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
where username is your username and passwort your password on your
non-anonymous account (should work with
anonymous:[EMAIL PROTECTED], too for an anonymous accounts)
note: i'm using kde, and both xftp and konqueror and midnight commander do
remote to remote ftp perfectly well that way...
the best thing is mc, just type cd ftp://username:[EMAIL PROTECTED] and
it will jump to that location, then do a TAB to the other window and do the
same for the second ftp-server you wish to connect to.
konqui of course has more features, but therefore is slower...
