Ok, I am an idiot. I forgot that I replaced the power supply a couple of weeks ago and
must
have knocked the ide cable loose. With the cable on I can now access the zip drive. I
have a
new problem now though, it doesn't seem to want to let me eject the disk. I created an
icon for
it on the desktop....used the create new floppy device choice. I put in the disk,
chose mount
from the icon, it mounts it, but it never changes to the unmount choice. I then
unmounted it
from xterm and it seemed to unmount ok but it won't eject. I restarted X and logged
back in and
it let me eject it then. This is wierd, any thoughts on this? And again, sorry for my
earlier
stupidity.
