I have always written a bzdisk when re-compiling, and these have always been
a boon at a time of trouble. Just as using the cdrom or even the distro boot
floppy has to boot into linux. Since the install of 3.1 a I have not been
able at _ALL_ to boot into linux. I installed ad reiserfs with /boot as ext2.
The install in this fashion was a mistake as it was all supposed to be
reiserfs but that was fortuitous. It always complaind as a _kernel panic_
and could not boot to 03.90 hda9.

I use grub and have done since its inception in LTP, I _DISLIKE_ lilo, period.

I have not had an instance, even with Sybil, where I could not use either the
install rescue disk or any bzdisk that I had the kernel for in /boot. With
this install I have had quite a too many problems and now I am looking at
Mandrake 8.1.

So the problem i have is not the boot disks but WS 3.1..............
