Without any configuring on my part, just loading the rpms, Konqueror works
find on my RH 7.1 box with swat.
So, you have a configuration problem. I use col 2.4 mainly.
Have you a line like this in /etc/inetd.conf (or whatever SUSE uses) and
have you restarted the inetd daemon (or the SUSE equivalent).
swat stream tcp nowait.400 root /usr/sbin/tcpd swat
