I used it on NT,  but that was 2-3 years ago. It was also over a 24K 
dial-up connection, so there was a lot of jitter/packet loss. However, at 
the time, it was the best free VOIP program I could find. Much better than 
freetel, which was the other popular choice at the time. I liked the vast 
range of codec choices, as well as jitter buffer depth. I didn't have the 
bandwidth/cpu capacity to explore encryption.
