Maxtor is the first to come out with the really huge IDE drives (150GB), and also UDMA133 controllers. I think they're trying to drum up business for themselves with that recommendation. I'm using an IBM 75GB IDE drive (7200 rpm) and it runs just fine with UDMA66. ===== ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lonni J.
