By "Front End" do you mean something like Access has for it's own databases? With most SQL RDBMS's you will find that the best front end for them is a GUI tool which allows you to send SQL commands in a simple way. For this, I like KMySQL. Other than that, you aren't going to find any "Access"-like front ends for real database servers. Even Access won't allow you to create databases and tables on MSSQL servers. You still have to use the tools for the DBMS, some of which are better than others.
