Hello Mohan, Thanks Nick and Steve. The fault was diagnosed as a firmware update required for the BIOS, to make the DVDRRW burner work (under gnu/linux Ubuntu 10.04, whereas it is working under Windows ?) So I believe Mohan means he cannot find the update on the Net yet, rather than he has no connectivity. We were helping Mohan get the .exe (?) download onto a CD, before he left, last I observed. But the other guys were managing this fix, so that's as much as I know just yet. Cheers, Rik _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.canterbury.ac.nz/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
