Yes; but if 'groff' is used instead of 'nroff' then the output is in
postscript... would it be possible to add a special value (eg: -Ttext
or -Ttty) that acts as 'nroff' without -T but that can also be used when
the binary is called 'groff' ?

In fact works when the source is either in ascii or iso-8859-1.
If the source is in another encoding, eg koi8-r, euc-jp, or utf-8 it doesn't
work.

What about the other place where -Tlatin1 is used (NEQN) ?
Should '/usr/bin/geqn -Tlatin1' be changed with '/usr/bin/neqn' ?
