BTW, is there any hope of seeing something like this patch included in
linux-uvc?  I understand it's a hack, but my webcam is not really usable
without it (and it's a sufficiently common model to warrant special
consideration w.r.t to pan/tilt controls, so why not workarounds).
I guess it could be activated by a module parameter "try_reset_hack".
