Hi Guys: My name is Mauricio and this is my first post to the list, so hi to all.. Recently i buy a new Eee PC (Asus sub-notebook) that have a UVC webcam integrated (Eee PC have a Xandros linux distro), the camera work perfect with the included UCView program, but i have problems when i try to streaming from the webcam with the uvc-straming (or mjpeg-streaming), or ffmpeg, becouse the /dev/video0 device is created dinamically, I mean when the camera is not used, the video0 device don't exist and only exist when the ucview program is running, so uvc-streaming or ffmpeg claim me about that the device don't exist...also i check the kernel modules and in all time the uvcvideo module is loaded (also the v4l2, videodev and other related..) Also i try to manually make the device with mknod video0...., but don't work..
