Ok thanks for info, I will remove the QuickCam Fusion. I see also
according to http://www.quickcamteam.net/hcl/linux/logitech-webcams that
this device is not stricly uvc compatible.

Thank you this is exactly the kind of information I was looking for. I
will then label Logitech and Creative Labs as "programmer friendly" for
the webcams we reference.
