Hi, I am trying to run my webcam under Ubuntu Hardy.
# lsusb Bus 007 Device 006: ID 5986:0240 Bison I checked the ID but it is not defined yet. Though i tried the driver and installed it. Didn't get any output from xawtv. luvcview gave errors: $ luvcview luvcview version 0.2.0 Video driver: x11 A window manager is available video /dev/video0 Unable to set format: 22. Init v4L2 failed !! exit fatal I have another webcam at my laptop also. So i want to ask whether my webcam is supported with the current version, if not can you add this support. If there is an error about my test will be happy if you give some help.
