I *believe* this is an appropriate camera to be added, may just need to
kick the user a couple of times and get the correct stuff loaded.

Bus 001 Device 029: ID 04f2:a216 Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd

Looking at the camera it states
Jazz HDV188 HDMI HiD

In a previous lifetime the following cameras were found by accident to
be the same Windows driver and both look very similar physically
(especially when you open them up)

Vivitar dvr 710
Vivitar dvr 865hd

I have no idea if this camera is UVC ready or not.

My only access to the original drivers is on a virtualbox.

I am running Ubuntu 9.04 if that makes any difference.

I am subscribed to the list and will gladly respond with any further
information I am asked for.

I am trying to gain access once again to the vivitar 965 to see what it
IDs as but I STRONGLY suspect it will be the same camera with a few
cosmetic changes and different name tags

I have installed nothing but cheese, luvcview, v4l-conf and previously
had skype, VLC installed.

All recognize my wifes logitech none recognize mine.
