Hi,
I'm running Ubuntu with 2.6.28-15.49 generic on a Mac Mini, and having
problems with a new HP Elite Autofocus webcam GX607AA.
The device shows up in dmesg output, and appears to be recognized by
luvcview, but give me a black screen. When I try to quit luvcview, it
hangs. When I run camstream I also get the camera recognized but
blackscreen; when I try to exit, I get a message that it's waiting for the
capture thread to terminate. kill -9 to both. I'm using the Ubuntu
uvccapture 0.5-1 and luvcview 1:0.2.4-2 packages. luvcview -L does show
that whatever it's talking to is willing to send at up to about 3MP.
Any suggestions? (The shutter is open. :)) I'm providing output below and
would be happy to send anything additional that might be of use.
