Exact same result except for two additional lines in dmesg: [243220.479865] uvcvideo: Forcing device quirks to 0x10 by module parameter for testing purpose. [243220.479869] uvcvideo: Please report required quirks to the linux-uvc-devel mailing list.
As for a hub, if there is one internal to this monitor (the webcam is builtin to the Dell SP2309W monitor) then I don't see what I can do about it. It's quite possible since in addition to the display there is the camera, microphone, and two additional USB ports on the side. Is there some argument to lsusb which shows devices by connection? To track this down I suppose I would sprinkle uvc_trace calls in uvc_video.c in uvc_video_enable() and then run make sudo make install sudo make unload sudo modprobe uvcvideo _______________________________________________ Linux-uvc-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/linux-uvc-devel
