Exact same result except for two additional lines in dmesg:

As for a hub, if there is one internal to this monitor (the webcam is
builtin to the Dell SP2309W monitor) then I don't see what I can do
about it. It's quite possible since in addition to the display there is
the camera, microphone, and two additional USB ports on the side. Is
there some argument to lsusb which shows devices by connection?

To track this down I suppose I would sprinkle uvc_trace calls in
uvc_video.c in uvc_video_enable() and then run

make
sudo make install
sudo make unload
sudo modprobe uvcvideo
