Salut a tous,
voici des nouvelles du projet GNUWIN;
de nombreux membres a l'association ont pu remarquer
que les logiciels du cdrom gnuwin 2.2 sont un peu
anciens.
j'ai donc contacte les mainteneurs du
projet a l'EPFL pour leur signaler cela. Manu,
l'un des developpeurs principaux du projet, nous
a tres vite renvoye un login.
Linux Azur devient donc contributeur
du projet gnuwin, et j'ai commence a mettre a
jour un bon lot d'applications.
D'apres le mail ci-dessous, vous
pouvez voir que la version 2.3 est en preparation,
et devrait sortir tres prochainement.
Toutefois, le projet manque de volontaires
pour tester la bonne installation des logiciels sous
Windows. Il faut bien entendu passer par la avant
de distribuer a grande echelle.
Certaines descriptions doivent aussi
etre verifiees pour leur orthographe, et d'autres
traduites depuis l'anglais vers:
- l'esperanto, l'espagnol, l'allemand, l'italien,
le francais ... et bien d'autres langues.
Pour ceux d'entre vous qui souhaiteraient
participer, manifestez-vous :) Je suis certains
qu'il y en a tout pleins parmi vous qui ont
un windows au bureau, en s'y mettant a plusieurs,
nous aurons fini tres vite !

First of all I would like to thank you for updating the applications.
The "age" of the applications was (and for quite a lot of applications
still is) a big problem in GNUWin.
I cannot promise anything for the next release but I try to finish the
next release by end of november. I plan to make several serious internal
changes and to make two CDs (A main CD with the most important
applications, and an add-on CD with all the rest).
I will be around in my office until Christmas and should find a couple
of evenings to accomplish a new release. In the mean time keep updating
the applications ;-)
