Well, there's already the ipodlinux forums, but I agree that a mailing list is the best solution (otherwise I just end up subscribe to everything, and it ends up working more or less as a mailing list again). http://www.ipodlinux.org/forums/ Also, it looks like someone has already registered #linux4nano on Freenode (Chanserv is there at least).
