Hello, all:
The gnome-5250 module in CVS has been updated. It's not yet complete,
but basically all the menus and the only dialog required for the first
production release are in place (although there is no code behind the
dialog). Also, you can connect to an AS/400 and get sweet emulation
(all the attributes work properly, including blinking ones and vertical
bars). I'll probably modify the property
dialog some (right now, it was just something pulled out of a past
attempt). Not all the keys are implemented, but they follow the real
terminal where they all (e.g. Right-control is enter, Enter is
field exit...).
To connect to an AS/400 you have to use the command-line options right
now.
Both gtk-5250 and gnome-5250 executables are produced unless you don't
have Gnome installed on your machine.
Please play with it and let me know. I'm debating the best way to bring
this into the tn5250 tree without breaking current ./configure support.

P.S. You need the tn5250 package installed to compile this, as well as
GTK+ and Gnome development options.
P.S.S. Checking out of CVS, newbie version:
cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/tn5250 login
# Password for anonymous is `anonymous'
cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/tn5250 checkout
gnome-5250
cd gnome-5250
./autogen.sh
./configure
make
su -c 'make install'
