Try the latest version from CVS and let me know if the problem still exists.
I authored the support for the system 36 (using passthrough from the AS/400).
I got it mostly working, but there were a few minor issues that I couldn't
easily correct (see the TODO/BUGS files for examples). I don't know if SSP
running under the OS/400 would behave similarly or not.
In any case, I don't have TCP/IP access to a system 36 anymore. I've got
SNA access to one, and M$ SNA Server access to another (without telnet
passthrough). *sigh*
