Hello, It's finaly happened. I just got a new laptop a compaq persario 906us amd athlon 1500+ 256 ram 20 gig hd dvd n cdrw but a I have a little problem that i am bugged with.. their must be some bugg with the amd athlon xp mobile processor. i am going to recompile a kernel too see if it helps but i cant insert any driver modules due to that i cannot use sound wireless ethernet .etc..... hopefully a updated custom kernel will sove the problem but if not bring ur brains to hamlug i can use some help btw it is running slackware 8.1 and ill bring a cd with some kernels on it.... if some one has a copy of redhat 8.0 please bring it and i will make a copy of it.. btw lwe is coming up hopefully everyone is going... ill be there...
