Ug so regarding performance on the desktop I get 10Mbit down and 70 up. I have Bell Fibe 1G / 150Mbit
On my phone from the same location gettings 74 down and 131 up. I guess I'm going to still try the ASUS wifi card I ordered from Staples online as it has an external antenna. I'll try adjusting these antennae a bit to see if I get anywhere with that.
