Hey, I have to say, I do not understand the rationale behind asking Linux developers to use Windows workstations. Just my 2 cents.
Yes, I know the usual answer... that they also need access to Windows-only tools like Outlook, etc. I suspect you'll find that discourages some of the best Linux developers from considering the position. Alternatively, you may find that many of them ignore the Windows boxes and bring in their own laptops to do the work.
