Does it work if you try to telnet pop.gmx.net on 110? [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~> telnet pop.gmx.net 110 Trying 213.165.64.22... Connected to pop.gmx.net. Escape character is '^]'. +OK GMX POP3 StreamProxy ready <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> USER [EMAIL PROTECTED] +OK May I have your password, please? PASS <secret> +OK Mailbox locked and ready STAT +OK 1 3681 QUIT +OK GMX POP3 server signing off Connection closed by foreign host. If it works, your problems are based on the evo setup (dunno anything about evo). If this fails, too, pop.gmx.net should give you a corresponding hint. HTH Please avoid TOFU (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOFU). -- bye maik
