I use a GMX E-Mail address with TLD li and this server is correct for me. > Error sending password: -ERR You may not use our POP3 service > Please enter the POP password for [EMAIL PROTECTED] on host > pop.gmx.net" Maybe you need to use the customer number instead of E-Mails address als username. I checked my fetchmail configuration and this works. Using the web interface both methods should work. You should be able to look up yout customer number after web login. > I suspect that I have to enable something on the settings for the > account with gmx - but I am at a loss as to how to do it - the hilfe > system has lots of mail programmes but not evolution. Did you check another client? Is the problem specific to evolution? I use another GMX address with username equals E-Mail address, but Port is 995 and protocol is ssl (same as fetchmail) but not tls. Maybe a wrong password is saved inside of evolution? Can you force to be asked for the password? regards Frank -- Linux mailing list [email protected] subscribe/unsubscribe: http://lug-owl.de/mailman/listinfo/linux Hinweise zur Nutzung: http://www.lug-owl.de/Mailingliste/hints.epo
