When you boot your computer, before RH9 begins to start up, try entering
your BIOS, by pressing the BIOS key... it varies from maker to maker,
but the most common ones are F-1 and Del. If your kbd does not work for
entering BIOS, or in BIOS, then the problem is hardware related...
either your kbd is dead, or not plugged in properly.

When you boot into RH9, if you watch the screen closely, there is a
point in the boot process where there is a pause (very short) and a line
that says something like 'press the spacebar now, to enter interactive
mode'.

If you are able to catch the interval and press whatever button the
message tells you to press (this might take a couple reboot tries)
and you are able to successfully enter interactive mode, you will be
able to say 'yes' or 'no' to each service, whether to start it or not.

If the keyboard stops working after one of your 'yes's, then you have
found the problem.

Another idea...if you were messing with your computer, unplugging the
kbd and mouse... did you make sure you had them plugged into the right
sockets?

Another idea... did you try booting with just the mouse unplugged?
