I have an old PII-350 here, complete system, so I thought I'd set it up with Mandriva and give it to someone who could really use it. (In this case, a single mother trying to work her way through school with classes that require her to use a computer that she does not have.)
The system will be used mostly for writing papers and the like, a bit of surfing the 'net and some e-mailing. I'm figuring OpenOffice, Firefox and Thunderbird. I'm going to set it up to use the KDE environment; seems fairly friendly. Anything suggestions on other things I should be thinking of installing on this box? ------------------------ Yahoo!
