Whatever comes with drivers that support both OS's, windows support is abundant, but you'll need to look about for a devices that eith come with linux drivers or are so commonly available that they might be supported by the linux OS already. (like a Nvidia graphics card is often identified by fedora and usually usable, but latest drivers can be obtained from the nvidia website for most OS's on the market).
Check with hardware manufacturers to see who does/doesn't provide much linux support. ========= Colin Nash ========= http://www.colinnashonline.com -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of naresh bhalala Sent: Friday, December 30, 2005 9:39 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [LINUX_Newbies] Help for Graphics / Sound / TV Tuner Hello Everybody, I'm planning for new PC (AMD Athlon 64 bit ) with OS - (FC4 + Win XP) Can any one advise best of following : 1.
