Plus the fact that I got Linspire 5.0 over 2 years ago and they are still
offering 5.0 today

I am having luck with Linux XP (the name on the Xandros distro) looks like I
will stay with that one

  eddie:
what could you possibly hate about Linspire besides the fact that they charge
for it and its boring widows-like interface? When it comes down to
functionality, media playback, and out of the box hardware support Linspire is
a pretty good distro. I use Ubuntu 6 ('cause it's free and I'm cheap) and I
highly reccomend it!

I should stick with. Looking for a fairly easy graphical interface. Actually I
am trying to run a program caled showeq (from showeq.net) and not having much
luck. ANYWAY
the dvd's I have to choose from so far are:
Slackware 10.2 (I cant find a graphical interface on htis)
  Linux XP
  Linspire (hate it)
  Suse 10.1
  Fedore core 5
  Knoppix
  Mandriva (was Mandrake)
  and
  Ubuntu
  Which is easiest on gnubies??
