Hello, I am a user of Redhat Linux 8.0/9.0.
Recently I can find DVD rewriters in PC shops.
I frequently used 650-700MB media for my redording files.
But now I can find better media such as 4.7GB DVD.

I face to record very large amount of data to CDs. But their
capacity is very small. So I bought DVD recorder. A staff in a PC
shop said, "This DVD driver is guaranteed to the windows series such
as 2000, XP and so on. I'm not certain whether it works on your
Linux OS."

After the install, I tried to make it read a usual CD. It succeeded.
But unfortunately, it failed in recording(Redhat Linux 8.0)...
If I cannot make it record data, I'll do that on the windows 2000
dual booted on my machine.

Anyone succeeded in recording?
The product is Super Multi DVD Rewriter GSA-H1ON, and the
manufacturer is LG.
