You likely need this package: libdvdcss2 
The above works for Ubuntu (Debian), so I am unsure of its effecacy with your 
distro.

  almost forgot, the above problem occurs with mandriva free 2007. i
  tried all of the DVD viewers that the install listed and only the
  NON-copy-protected DVD's worked.
