Mr Wittig, Thank you for your graceful note. You will understand that these days the world is awash with distaste for and hostility towards Americans, and all that, in our estimation, they stand for. Your note is salve and balm. That said, I do not know know what "mentoring young Marines" might mean beyond giving instruction in rape, torture and murder. Perhaps that bit of autobiography belongs elsewhere? Again, instructing people to provide help "on a regular and recurring basis" is a bit much considering that you are talking to knowledgeable volunteers without any knowledge of the time at their disposal.
